This thread will be used for any announcements and administrative decisions made during UUWC 2023. This thread will also be used for teams to post their rosters throughout the coming week for the tournament. Please make sure to be aware of the information in the signup thread and we hope you enjoy this UUWC! To kick off this thread, down below are the teams and managers for UUWC!

Since the round started two weeks ago, SV UU will be locked to pre-August shifts. Both PS! and Smogtours have already been updated to account for these shifts, so all battles for SV UU should be played in SV OU for the duration of the pools phase.

Using an illegal Pokémon results in a game loss being rewarded to the person who used the illegal Pokémon. Per the post above, it was made clear August-shifted Pokémon were not allowed this round, and so both Tenshinhan and TLTK will be granted losses against Elfuseon due to each bringing Iron Treads.

The game was not played before the deadline and is ruled a dead game. It does not affect playoff seeding.

All 3 matchups were not played prior to the quarterfinals deadline and are therefore ruled dead games.
