Snorunt may seem like a strange choice as a Spikes user when Cacnea and Pineco are available, but it does have its niche. Its Ice typing as not as much of a drawback as you might think, as both Fighting-, Fire-, Rock-, and Steel-type Pokemon and coverage are rare to see in ADV LC outside of Houndour. Snorunt also has unique utility moves like Icy Wind that allow it to slow down opposing Pokemon before it faints. It also provides Snorunt with a powerful attack in STAB Ice Beam.
