Fairy
Base Stats: 95 HP / 70 ATK / 73 DEF / 95 SPA / 90 SPD / 60 SPE
Abilities: Cute Charm | Magic Guard | Unaware (HA)
Notable Moves:
Calm Mind
Chilling Water
Cosmic Power
Draining Kiss
Encore
Fire Blast
Flamethrower
Focus Blast
Grass Knot
Ice Beam
Knock Off
Moonlight
Moonblast
Night Shade
Protect
Shadow Ball
Stealth Rock
Stored Power
Thunder
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Trick
Wish

Pros:
  • Has both Magic Guard and Unaware, two of the best abilities in the game
  • Has a really wide movepool, letting it support its team in many different ways
  • Hits deceptively hard with STAB Moonblast
  • Thanks to Magic Guard, it takes on a lot of things it seems like it can’t, making it hard to kill despite its seemingly low stats
  • Doesn’t care about the reduced hazard removal options like other defensive pokemon do
  • I think she is cool :3
Cons:
  • Lost Soft-Boiled in Gen 9, which forces it to use the unreliable Moonlight if it wants to run 3 other moves
  • If it wants to use Moonlight, it becomes way worse against weather teams that aren’t sun
  • Its stats are usually only barely enough, so it can easily get overwhelmed
  • The above statement is furthered by power creep, meaning it could potentially be overwhelmed even easier

Tera Potential:
  • Tera Water for that other good typing, and unlike other tera waters it doesn’t have the drawback of being weak to Salt Cure
  • Tera Fire obviously boosts the power of Fire moves, which works well if you’re running Flamethrower or something. It also resists steel like Water does
  • Tera Dragon because Ogerpon is certainly a pokemon

Potential Movesets:

Utility
Clefable @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Leftovers
Ability: Unaware / Magic Guard
Tera Type: Steel / Water
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Stealth Rock / Thunder Wave / Encore
- Wish
- Protect

This is basically the same spread that was used in SS, but it still lives a lot of important hits like Specs Pult’s Shadow Ball and Iron Val’s Moonblast (or any standard moves valiant has. It is still scared of encore though!)

Calm Mind
Clefable @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Tera Type: Water / Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast / Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower / Thunder / Thunderbolt / Stealth Rock / Thunder Wave / Ice Beam / Encore / Literally anything can be in this slot if you need it lol
- Moonlight

Calm Mind has always secretly been my favorite Clefable set, and probably my favorite set in all of competitive pokemon, because Magic Guard works perfectly with it. That being said, SV OU is… certainly one of the metas of all time, so it may not be as good as it once was, but its a bit hard to say right now.

Cosmic Power + Stored Power
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
Tera Type: Water / Dragon / Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Cosmic Power
- Stored Power
- Moonblast
- Moonlight

I’m not sure if this is mid or complete dogshit. I just think the idea of this being good is funny. The chances are low, but never are they zero
