[SET COMMENTS]

Hawlucha acts as a threatening sweeper and late-game cleaner on Terrain teams. Thanks to Grassy Seed activating Unburden, Hawlucha becomes faster than the majority of the metagame, outpacing Choice Scarf and Booster Energy opponents like Darkrai and Iron Valiant and providing plenty of coverage with its Fighting-Flying STAB combination. Its serviceable bulk, along with a boost to its Defense due to Grassy Seed, allows Hawlucha to Swords Dance in front of many common opponents, such as Kingambit and Great Tusk. Psychic Seed is an alternative to enable Hawlucha in Psychic Terrain teams, granting a valuable Special Defense boost that can help it set-up in the face of special attackers like Iron Valiant. Encore can force switches and thwart recovery attempts by locking the opponent into a resisted attack or a recovery move. Alternatively, Substitute can also give Hawlucha the breathing room it might need to set up against incoming status moves from Gliscor and deny Sucker Punch and Thunderclap from Kingambit and Raging Bolt, respectively. 124 EVs in Speed are enough to outspeed Sand Rush Excadrill after Unburden activates, and the bulk investment allows it to live a Make It Rain from Gholdengo from full. Either Tera Flying or Tera Fighting are great ways to enhance its damage output; after a Swords Dance Hawlucha can OHKO Zamazenta through Dauntless Shield with Tera Flying, and equally steamroll through Raging Bolt in one hit with Tera Fighting. Tera Flying also rids Hawlucha of its Fairy weakness, allowing it to avoid the 2HKO from Clefable's Moonblast. Alternatively, Tera Electric can be used to withstand Raging Bolt and Gholdengo, disallowing paralysis attempts and resisting Thunderclap and Make It Rain, respectively.

Whenever Hawlucha opts to run Grassy Seed, Rillaboom is always nearby. Rillaboom's terrain-setting ability and slow U-Turns are pivotal in unleashing Hawlucha's onslaught, additionally spreading Knock Off to rid Skarmory and Corviknight of their Rocky Helmet, for instance. Strong partners on Grassy Terrain teams include Pokemon such as Iron Moth and Heatran, that can help to pressure some of Hawlucha's checks prior to its sweep such as the aforementioned Skarmory and Corviknight. Entry hazard support in the form of Glimmora, Hisuian Samurott, or Ting-Lu is also much appreciated. Hawlucha faces two big roadblocks in Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. Gholdengo in particular can easily shrug off Acrobatics and Close Combat, and can take out Hawlucha while keeping itself healthy with Recover. Kingambit or the aforementioned Heatran have positive match-ups against Gholdengo, while Pokemon like Hatterene can force Gholdengo in and weaken it while also providing a faster-paced terrain team with entry hazard control. Raging Bolt, on the other hand, threatens Hawlucha with Thunderbolt and Thunderclap when not running Tera Electric. It is therefore important to pair it with partners that can neutralize Raging Bolt such as Iron Valiant and Primarina. Indeedee is used instead of Rillaboom in Psychic Terrain teams. However, this is an inconsistent strategy in a metagame populated by Rillaboom, Roaring Moon, Hisuian Samurott and stall with some matches already lost in team preview, so Rillaboom is generally preferred. Rain teams can also handle Hawlucha, as Barraskewda still outspeeds it in the rain. Raging Bolt is a great check to rain teams that synergizes well with Grassy Terrain and can deal with rain's threats prior to Hawlucha cleaning up in the endgame.

Hawlucha acts as a sweeper and late-game cleaner in Grassyon Terrain teams; albeit specific, this is a role that is completely unique to it. Mons like Rilla, Gouging, Zama can fill sweeper/cleaner roles. Thanks to Grassyterrain Seeds activating Unburden, Hawlucha becomes the fastest relevant force not true, change to something like the majority of the metagame including most boosted mons. in the metagame, outpacing Choice Scarf and Booster Energy opponents like? and providing plenty of coverage with its Fighting-Flying STAB combination. Its serviceable bulk, along with a boost to its Defense or Special Defense due to its terrainGrassy Seed, allows Hawlucha to Swords Dance in front of many common opponents, such as Kingambit, Heatran or and Zamazenta when using Grassy Seed mention Psychic Seed, emphasize that it is a niche option. Encore can lock opponents into undesired moves and force switches; for instance, an opposing Great Tusk that just KO’d a teammate with Earthquake could be prevented from using Ice Spinner against Hawlucha. Shorten this example and add setup moves, hazards, recovery. Alternatively, Substitute can also give Hawlucha the breathing room it might need to set up against incoming status moves from Gliscor or Dragapult Dragapult has Infiltrator on status sets, more relevant mons for sub would be raging bolt, kingambit. 124 EVs in Speed are enough to outspeed Sand Rush Excadrill, and the bulk investment allow it to live a Make It Rain from Gholdengo from full. Either Tera Flying or Tera Fighting are great ways to enhance its damage output add ohkos they get at +2 and small defensive utility, and Tera Electric can be used to withstand Raging Bolt and Gholdengo. Setup on para, live make it rain, resist thunderclap

Whenever Hawlucha is in discussion, Rillaboom is always nearby, ready to be the key to unlock Hawlucha's potential. Bulkier, more pivoting sets of Rillaboom with Heavy-Duty Boots or even Terrain Extender should be preferred in favour of its Choice Band set, cb is still very good with lucha giving Hawlucha an optimal entry point with a slow U-Turn. Usual suspects in Grassy Terrain teams include Ground-weak the fact that they're ground weak is irrelevant Pokemons such as Iron Moth and Heatran that can help Hawlucha bypass some of its bulkier and more stall-oriented checks such as Galarian Slowking glowking does not beat lucha and its decent into tran and a counter to moth. Conversely, one has to take Grassy Terrain's effect on Earthquake when teambuilding; Great Tusk prefers running Headlong Rush and Landorus-Therian is better off with Earth Power. Correct but not relevant to lucha itself. Although nearly unmatched in Speed, plenty of +2 mons outspeed Hawlucha faces two big roadblocks in Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. Gholdengo in particular can easily shrug off Acrobatics and ignore Close Combat, and with hazard support can take out Hawlucha, even if EV'd properly. Thus, hazard clearing in the form of Great Tusk or hazard denying from Hatterene are appreciated in assisting in a successful sweep, and the aforementioned Heatran or Kingambit Kingambit wasn't mentioned before have positive match-ups against Gholdengo. Raging Bolt, on the other hand, threatens Hawlucha with 50/50 mind games between Thunderbolt and Thunderclap when not running Tera Electric, and even then it is not hard to overwhelm Hawlucha on the special side. Ting-Lu thus makes a great partner as a dedicated RagintRaging Bolt counter and as hazard stacking support. Doesn't matter that much when swapping out prevents you from sweeping again. In general, priority is a big factor against Hawlucha, and other Pokemons such as bulky variants of Dragonite can also switch into Hawlucha and fire back strong priority moves. Priority users don't need to switch in to revenge kill One might feel tempted to forego Grassy Terrain in favour of Psychic Terrain, but the risk of running lesser mons such as Indeedee or Polteageist is often not worth the reward, so the best advice is to be wary of priority users. Hawlucha is not immune to priority without tera. Change the downside of psychic terrain to mention how its a matchup fish that loses to stuff like Rillaboom, Stall, and Hisuian Samurott Last but not least, the rise in popularity of Tera Ghost for physical attackers such as Weavile and hazard stacking leads such as Hisuian Samurott can easily flip positive match-ups into a waste of a turn. But even with all its flaws, Hawlucha excels at cleaning ups teams in the late game. Its lack of immediate power might clash against a Zamazenta at full health, and the lack of knowledge of, for example, an opposing Kingambit's Tera Type can leave it having to over-predict, but in the late game, with good positioning and support, Hawlucha can wipe them out with relative ease.

On the topic of Psychic Terrain, running lesser mons such as Indeedee, Armarouge, (ac) andor Polteageist in a metagame populated by Rillaboom, Roaring Moon, Hisuian Samurott, and very successful stall cores is often not worth the risk and, while success can be found, some matches are already lost in team preview with such strategies. Hawlucha acts as a threatening sweeper and late-game cleaner on Terrain teams. Thanks to terrain Seeds Grassy Seed (Tbh we only have Grassy Seed listed on the sample set, so I think it's fine to keep this as just Grassy Seed then talk about Psychic Seed later) activating Unburden, Hawlucha becomes faster than the majority of the metagame, outpacing Choice Scarf and Booster Energy opponents like Darkrai and Iron Valiant and providing plenty of coverage with its Fighting-Flying STAB combination. Its serviceable bulk, along with a boost to its Defense or Special Defense due to the terrain Grassy Seed, allows Hawlucha to Swords Dance in front of many common opponents, such as Kingambit and Zamazenta (You can SD in front of Zamazenta anyway, they don't 2HKO you with anything unboosted) when using Grassy Seed. Psychic Seed is also an option to enable Hawlucha in Psychic Terrain teams, granting a valuable Special Defense boost that can help it set-up in the face of an unsuspecting Volcarona or Walking Wake, (Iron Valiant may be a better example to list here than Volcarona - with Psychic Seed's boost, you live a Moonblast from full) although this archetype is much more niche due to it's poor match-up against Stall, Grassy Terrain and the myriad of Dark-types in the metagame. (Tbh this isn't only why PsySpam is bad, it's also along the lines of Indeedee being a pretty useless mon in general and the playstyle being an inconsistent form of HO matchup fishing. I think that's a little too much info though, so you could maybe just leave it without description especially if you talk about why it's niche in the second paragraph, which you already do) Encore can force switches and thwart recovery attempts by locking the opponent in into a status resisted attack or a not-very-effective recovery move. (An opponent that you're Encoring typically won't be clicking a not very effective move into Hawlucha unless you Tera on the hit or something, it's good to emphasise that it can force a switch by switching in on a resisted hit or recovery move and using Encore or just Encoring a recovery move. You also don't really want to Encore something into a status move since Hawlucha doesn't like taking status) Alternatively, Substitute can also give Hawlucha the breathing room it might need to set up against incoming status moves from Gliscor and deny Sucker Punch and Thunderclap from Kingambit and Raging Bolt, respectively. 124 EVs in Speed are enough to outspeed Sand Rush Excadrill after Unburden activates, and the bulk investment allows it to live a Make It Rain from Gholdengo from full. Either Tera Flying or Tera Fighting are great ways to enhance its damage output; after a Swords Dance Hawlucha can OHKO offensive variants of Zamazenta with a Defense boost with Tera Flying through Dauntless Shield, (Just to phrase it more clearly since it can also get a defense boost from Iron Defense and then it'd live Acrobatics) and equally steamroll through defensive behemoths such as Garganacl and Ting-Lu with Tera Fighting. (Maybe something like the guaranteed OHKO on Raging Bolt after a Swords Dance would be good to list here, Tera Fighting doesn't change a ton about the Garg / Lu matchups) Tera Flying also rids Hawlucha of its Fairy weakness, allowing it to set-up in front of Iron Valiant and Clefable, while Tera Fighting bypasses its Electric and Ice weaknesses, giving it longer longevity setup opportunities against Kyurem and Raging Bolt. Alternatively, Tera Electric can be used to withstand Raging Bolt and Gholdengo, disallowing paralysis attempts and further resisting their most significant moves in Thunderclap and Make It Rain.

Whenever Hawlucha is in discussion, Rillaboom is always nearby, ready to be the key to unlock Hawlucha's potential. Its terrain-setting ability, Knock Off spreading and slow U-Turns are pivotal in unleashing Hawlucha's onslaught. (Could rephrase this a little and talk about how it can Knock Off items like Rocky Helmet from Skarmory and Corviknight) Usual suspects in Strong partners on Grassy Terrain teams include Pokemon such as Iron Moth and specially Heatran, that can try to trap neutralize help to pressure (Corv or Skarm are prob never staying in on either of these Pokemon, they can just force them out to keep them low) some of Hawlucha's checks prior to its sweep such as Skarmory and Corviknight. Although nearly unmatched in Speed, Hawlucha faces two big roadblocks in Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. (Tbh this is kinda already covered information and can prob be cut out) Gholdengo in particular can easily shrug off Acrobatics and Close Combat, and with hazard support can take out Hawlucha, even if EV'd properly. Thus, hazard clearing in the form of Great Tusk or hazard denying from Hatterene are appreciated in assisting in a successful sweep, and Kingambit or the aforementioned Heatran have positive match-ups against Gholdengo. (The latter part is good, but Hawlucha is really not hazard weak so it's prob not worth emphasising that you need to pair it with removal to live one roll. Pokemon that can instead weaken it (like Hatterene!) are instead good partners to have) Raging Bolt, on the other hand, threatens Hawlucha with Thunderbolt and Thunderclap when not running Tera Electric, and even then it is not hard to overwhelm Hawlucha on the special side. (This is kinda just general information) Ting-Lu thus makes a great partner as a dedicated Raging Bolt counter and as hazard stacking support, chipping it down in order for Hawlucha to finish it when the time is right. (This is good - you could list some other hazard setting partners like Glimmora here too) In general, priority is a big factor against Hawlucha, as threats such as Dragonite and Weavile can revenge kill it with strong priority in Extreme Speed and Ice Shard, respectively, and Hawlucha is unable to stave off priority even under Psychic Terrain, so one should be wary of when to start the sweep with Hawlucha, as a well timed Ice Shard or Extreme Speed can easily stop it. On the topic of Psychic Terrain, running lesser mons such as Indeedee, Armarouge, and Polteageist Psychic Terrain is an inconsistent strategy (Better to rephrase this - nothing's forcing you to run suboptimal picks on PsyTerrain and it can still use strong mons like Deo-S, Zamazenta, Hatterene, it's more about it being a relatively weak MU fish in general) in a metagame populated by Rillaboom, Roaring Moon, Hisuian Samurott and very successful stall cores is often not worth the risk and, while success can be found, some matches are already lost in team preview with such strategies. Rain teams can additionally overwhelm Hawlucha under either terrain, as Barraskewda still outspeeds it in the rain. Last but not least, the rise in popularity of Tera Ghost for physical attackers such as Weavile and hazard stacking leads such as Hisuian Samurott can easily flip positive match-ups into a waste of a turn. (I'd prob remove this, as Weavile does not typically run Tera Ghost, while lead Samurott-H is usually not going to stick around to answer Hawlucha and uses Tera Ghost to block Rapid Spin rather than to defensively answer things) But even with all its flaws, Hawlucha excels at cleaning ups teams in the late game. Its lack of immediate power might clash against a Zamazenta at full health, and the lack of knowledge of, for example, an opposing Kingambit's Tera Type can leave it having to over-predict, but in the late game, with good positioning and support, Hawlucha can wipe them out with relative ease.

Hawlucha acts as a threatening sweeper and late-game cleaner on Terrain teams. Its serviceable bulk, along with a boost to its Defense due to Grassy Seed, allows Hawlucha to Swords Dance in front of many common opponents, such as Kingambit and Great Tusk. Psychic Seed is an alternative to enable Hawlucha in Psychic Terrain teams, granting a valuable Special Defense boost that can help it set-up in the face of an unsuspecting special attackers like (Worth changing this wording imo, since Hawlucha only really does one thing so they won't really be unsuspecting) Iron Valiant or Walking Wake. Tera Flying also rids Hawlucha of its Fairy weakness, allowing it to set-up in front of Iron Valiant and Clefable avoid the 2HKO from Clefable's Moonblast (I think this can be changed, as Hawlucha OHKOs Iron Valiant so you aren't really tera-ing to set up in front of it), while Tera Fighting bypasses its Electric and Ice weaknesses, giving it setup opportunities against Kyurem and Raging Bolt. (I think this can prob be removed, as Tera Electric does both and is better for the Electric weakness, Tera Fighting doesn't really help much defensively) Alternatively, Tera Electric can be used to withstand Raging Bolt and Gholdengo, disallowing paralysis attempts and further resisting their most significant moves in Thunderclap and Make It Rain, respectively. (Just a phrasing thing to make it a little more more clear)

Whenever Hawlucha is in discussion, Rillaboom is always nearby, ready to be the key to unlock Hawlucha's potential. (You could maybe remove the last sentence, as Psychic Seed is mentioned for Hawlucha and you wouldn't want to pair Rillaboom with that) Its Rillaboom's terrain-setting ability and slow U-Turns are pivotal in unleashing Hawlucha's onslaught, additionally spreading Knock Off to rid bulkier opponents of their Rocky Helmet or Leftovers. (Which ones? Skarmory and Corviknight are pretty key examples for Rocky Helmet users) Strong partners on Grassy Terrain teams include Pokemon such as Iron Moth and Heatran, that can help to pressure some of Hawlucha's checks prior to its sweep such as the aforementioned (Add this if you add them as examples before) Skarmory and Corviknight. Hawlucha faces two big roadblocks in Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. Gholdengo in particular can easily shrug off Acrobatics and Close Combat, and with hazard support can take out Hawlucha, even if EV'd properly while keeping itself healthy with Recover. (I think it's better to emphasise that Ghold just 1v1s it, rather than having a chance to OHKO after rocks or anything) Hatterene makes for a great partner to counter hazard-stacking strategies, and Kingambit or the aforementioned Heatran have positive match-ups against Gholdengo, while Pokemon like Hatterene can force Gholdengo in and weaken it while also providing a faster-paced terrain team with entry hazard control. (I think this can be moved and refocused - like I mentioned before, Hawlucha really doesn't care about entry hazards much as it's completely immune to spikes, neutral to rocks, and only ever wants to switch in once) Raging Bolt, on the other hand, threatens Hawlucha with Thunderbolt and Thunderclap when not running Tera Electric. (If you want to talk about a partner that helps vs Bolt, talk about something that helps weaken or eliminate Raging Bolt early by making it come in and take damage or get 1v1'd) Ting-Lu thus makes a great partner as a dedicated Raging Bolt counter and as hazard stacking support, chipping it down in order for Hawlucha to finish it when the time is right. (I'd rephrase this whole sentence to only talk about Ting-Lu's ability to stack entry hazards, and move this after talking about Glimmora + Samurott-H as you don't always want Lu on Gterrain bc of a weakened Earthquake; veti talked about this before but yeah it's not really important to have a dedicated Bolt switch-in when Hawlucha hates switching out as it loses Unburden) Further hazard-setting partners include Glimmora and Hisuian Samurott, who are both excellent suicide leads with unique traits. (Like what, and what relevance does these traits have to Hawlucha?) In general, priority is a big factor against Hawlucha, as threats such as Dragonite and Weavile can revenge kill it with strong priority in Extreme Speed and Ice Shard respectively, and Hawlucha is unable to stave off priority even under Psychic Terrain, so one should be wary of when to start the sweep with Hawlucha. Indeedee can be used instead of Rillaboom for Psychic Terrain teams. However, this (Something like this is needed to clarify why you start talking about Psychic Terrain here, this isn't listing a partner and Indeedee isn't mentioned anywhere in the analysis) is an inconsistent strategy in a metagame populated by Rillaboom, Roaring Moon, Hisuian Samurott and very successful stall cores is often not worth the risk and some matches are already lost in team preview with such strategies., so Rillaboom is typically preferred. (Something like this is needed to clarify why you talk about Psychic Terrain being bad) Rain teams can additionally overwhelm also handle Hawlucha under either terrain, as Barraskewda still outspeeds it in the rain. (Is there anything you can suggest to pair with it to help with this matchup? If not, then this may be worth removing as it isn't super helpful information) But even with all its flaws, Hawlucha excels at cleaning ups teams in the late game. Its lack of immediate power might clash against a Zamazenta at full health, and the lack of knowledge of, for example, an opposing Kingambit's Tera Type can leave it having to over-predict, but in the late game, with good positioning and support, Hawlucha can wipe them out with relative ease. (This whole last couple sentences could be a little unnecessary, as they don't add much to what the Pokemon does or what you want to pair with it to help it out)

Psychic Seed is an alternative to enable Hawlucha in Psychic Terrain teams, granting a valuable Special Defense boost that can help it set-up in the face of special attackers like Iron Valiant or Walking Wake. (Prob just cut it down to Val unless there are other key examples, Wake sun isn't super common and even at +1 Lucha can go down to Specs Draco) Encore can force switches and thwart recovery attempts by locking the opponent into a resisted attack or a recovery move. Whenever Hawlucha is in discussion opts to run Grassy Seed, (Worth clarifying just to make it clear that Rillaboom is always necessary on the standard Grassy Seed set, but it's not necessary when using a different option) Rillaboom is always nearby. (Moved this here from later) Hawlucha faces two big roadblocks in Gholdengo and Raging Bolt. Due to Hawlucha's distaste for switching, it It is therefore important to pair it with hazard support in the form of Ting-Lu, Glimmora or Hisuian Samurott, along (Good point but I'd make it its own sentence) with partners that can neutralize Raging Bolt such as Iron Valiant and Primarina. In general, priority is a big factor against Hawlucha, as threats such as Dragonite and Weavile can revenge kill it with strong priority in Extreme Speed and Ice Shard respectively, and Hawlucha is unable to stave off priority even under Psychic Terrain, so one should be wary of when to start the sweep with Hawlucha. (This whole sentence is kinda just general advice regarding how to use Hawlucha and doesn't really talk about which Pokemon to pair with it - could maybe talk about something that deals with Dnite + Weavile as they can stop a Hawlucha sweep if it's already chipped, but if not then this can prob be removed, esp. as with Grassy Seed Weavile only does like 35-ish%) Indeedee is used instead of Rillaboom in Psychic Terrain teams. However, this is an inconsistent strategy in a metagame populated by Rillaboom, Roaring Moon, Hisuian Samurott and stall and with some matches are already lost in team preview, so Rillaboom is generally preferred. Rain teams can also handle Hawlucha, as Barraskewda still outspeeds it in the rain. Your own Raging Bolt is a great check to rain teams that synergizes well with Grassy Terrain and can deal with those rain's threats prior to the cleaning up by Hawlucha cleaning up in the endgame.

Really excellent work, QC 2/2 when implemented! I particularly like the Raging Bolt example, that's a great partner that fits well on terrain and helps out against rain :)
