[OVERVIEW]
With the ability of sand force, Choice Scarf Drilbur is one of the most powerful sweepers in the thread, and is a strong revenge killer when there is no sandstorm, but there are also many limitations, as long as the matching teammates complement each other, they can play a strong strength.
[SET]
name: Sand Force
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Rock Slide
move 3: Shadow Claw
move 4: Stealth Rock
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Sand Force
nature: Jolly
evs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 212 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
The higher base attack makes Drilbur's firepower formidable enough without boost, and when it gains a bonus to its ability under sandstorm, Drilbur's attacks become much more difficult to defense. Choice Scarf and Jolly nature allows it to outspeed many revenge killers in the tier and hits them immediately, such as Gastly, Diglett and Flying Gem Mienfoo. The Earthquake is its most spammable STAB move, the bonus from a sandstorm is enough for a scary fire to 2HKO bulk Mienfoo and special defense Porygon, OHKO Flying Gem Mienfoo and Diglett in sandstorm. Rock Slide provides valuable coverage against Natu, Drifloon and Vullaby, while Shadow Claw hits Gastly super effectively without Mold Breaker. Stealth Rock can be used in predicting Opponent pivot those defensive pokemons and can chip checks that would otherwise just fall short of a KO. Because using Choice Scarf, Drilbur will be locked in one move, when locked in Earthquake Pokemons such as Vullaby and Drifloon will take this opportunity to attack so checks to these like Bronzor and Porygon help a lot. With the lack of firepower outside the sandstorm, Drilbur appreciates teammates can set Spikes and use Knock Off remove Eviolite from opponent such as Ferroseed and Mienfoo which give Drilbur an easier clean.

Terribly sorry to get back to you so late, I did not notice the ping, and I hope you still have time and motivation for this. Thank you for putting in such a good effort so far!

Should be rewritten to better fit Mold Breaker Scarf, as with Gastly being on 90% of teams and having the ability to force Stealth Rock even vs Natu gives it a solid niche on most balanced and weatherless / Hail teams, whereas Sand is not a very common archetype in the current meta.

The higher base attack makes Drilbur's firepower formidable enough without boost, and when it gains a bonus to its ability under sandstorm, Drilbur's attacks become much more difficult to defense.(Cut as it's not relevant to Mold Breaker) Choice Scarf and Jolly nature allows it to outspeed many revenge killers in the tier and hits them immediately, such as Gastly, Diglett and Flying Gem Mienfoo (Maybe list Chinchou / Bronzor / LO Abra here too?). The Earthquake is its most spammable STAB move, the bonus from a sandstorm is enough for a scary fire to 2HKO bulk Mienfoo and special defense Porygon, OHKO Flying Gem Mienfoo and Diglett in sandstorm, while Rock Slide provides valuable coverage against Natu, Drifloon and Vullaby, while Shadow Claw hits Gastly super effectively without Mold Breaker. With the lack of firepower outside the sandstorm, Drilbur appreciates teammates can set Spikes and use Knock Off remove Eviolite from opponent such as Ferroseed and Mienfoo which give Drilbur an easier clean. Here you can mention the relevant calcs you have for Sand Force Drilbur as an option on Sand Teams. Mold Breaker Scarf should be the main variation however, as Sand isn't as relevant in the current metagame, and they generally prefer pokemon like Shell Smash Omanyte as wincons, or Sand Force Diglett as a fast Sand Force cleaner, due to its ability to switch moves in a metagame where many Flying Types are present.

You should probably also have Eviolite Rocker as a second set, as many people bring Drilbur as a Rocker into people who rely on Natu for Hazard Control, and then either Hazard Control of their own with Rapid Spin or Swords Dance for Breaking / Cleaning.

Eviolite Rocker (Drilbur) @ Eviolite
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin / Swords Dance / Toxic
- Stealth Rock
