Iron Crown is a fearsome sweeper on offense teams, using its access to Calm Mind to become a powerful threat with the extra speed supplied by Booster Energy, which allows it to outspeed key threats such as Latios and Tornadus-T. The given EV spread ensures that Booster Energy will enhance Iron Crown's Speed while still having the maximum amount of Special Attack possible. Calm Mind is Iron Crown's best and only boosting move, with just one allowing it to secure 2HKOs against Pokemon like Mandibuzz and Hydrapple, as well as chance to OHKO Toxapex. The added Special Defense also comes in handy, as it allows Iron Crown to survive attacks from and go up against Hydrapple and Assault Vest Tornadus-T. Tachyon Cutter is Iron Crown's STAB move of choice, with the multi-hit property making it one of the few ways to check Ogerpon-C. Psychic Noise allows Iron Crown to make up for its dampened attacking power by denying bulkier opponents their recovery options, making it especially useful against Pokemon like Toxapex, Slowking, defensive Zapdos, and Calm Mind Latios. Expanding Force is an option on Psychic Terrain teams for more immediate power, but outside of those team structures it is largely useless compared to other options. If more immediate power is needed on non-Psychic Terrain structures, one can opt for Psychic over Psychic Noise, but do be wary that allowing opponents access to recovery can result in sticky situations. Focus Blast nails Pokemon that naturally resist Iron Crown's STABS, like Excadrill, Metagross, and Empoleon, and is also more effective than Tachyon Cutter at breaking through a healthy Tyranitar. It also helps against Pokemon that commonly Terastallize into Steel-types, such as Zapdos and Hydrapple. Substitute is also an option in this slot, Tera Dragon is used in conjunction with Psychic Noise to give Iron Crown a workable matchup into Skeledirge, as Calm Mind boosts are ineffective thanks to Unaware, while also allowing it to safely 2HKO Hisuian Arcanine and easing the matchup against Belly Drum Azumarill for more offensive teams. Meanwhile, Tera Psychic helps to give Iron Crown's Psychic STAB a bit more oomph, although it is generally restricted to Psychic Terrain due to making Iron Crown even weaker to opposing priority.

Iron Crown finds a home on all manner of offensive teams in need of a powerful sweeper, as well as those in need of a way to reliably deal with Ogerpon-C. Ogerpon-C also makes an exemplary teammate for Iron Crown thanks to its ability to dispose of Slowking. In addition, alongside Pokemon like Hydrapple, Ogerpon-C can also help to wear down shared checks such as Tinkaton and Metagross so that Iron Crown can deal with them more easily. Entry hazard setters like Tinkaton, Kommo-o, and Sandy Shocks make good teammates, as the extra chip damage they provide can alleviate Iron Crown's occasional struggle to secure killing blows. Iron Crown also greatly appreciates pivots like Lokix, Tornadus, and Zapdos as Iron Crown appreciates their ability to bring it in safely, and in turn Iron Crown can help to overwhelm nuisances to these Pokemon like Tinkaton and Tyranitar. Iron Crown also appreciates teammates like Azumarill, Greninja, and Keldeo for their ability to stave off Excadrill. Rotom-Wash can also function in this role, but one must exercise caution against Mold Breaker variants of Excadrill. Excadrill also makes a good partner itself, as Iron Crown appreciates its ability to remove entry hazards and alleviate chip damage, making it less vulnerable to opposing revenge killers. Excadrill's ability to help deal with Metagross and opposing Iron Crown is also appreciated. Psychic Terrain teams also have an abundance of good partners for Iron Crown, most notably Hawlucha, as the two can very easily overwhelm the opponent with their speed, setup options, and powerful STAB.

Iron Crown is a fearsome sweeper on offense teams, using its access to Calm Mind to become a powerful threat with the extra speed supplied by Booster Energy. (i'd mention here what mons you outspeed like Lati/Torn cause that's the main reason you run this mon) The given EV spread ensures that Booster Energy will enhance Iron Crown's Speed while still having the maximum amount of Special Attack possible. Calm Mind is Iron Crown's best and only boosting move, with just one allowing it to secure 2HKOs against Pokemon like Mandibuzz and Hydrapple, as well as chance to OHKO Toxapex. Tachyon Cutter is Iron Crown's STAB move of choice, with the multi-hit property making it one of the few ways to check Ogerpon-C and effective against stopping Ribombee from setting Sticky Web. (bee is ou again) Psychic Noise allows Iron Crown to make up for its dampened attacking power by denying bulkier opponents their recovery options, making it especially useful against Pokemon like Toxapex, Slowking, defensive Zapdos, and Calm Mind Latios. Focus Blast nails Pokemon that naturally resist Iron Crown's STABS, like Excadrill, and is also more effective than Tachyon Cutter at breaking through a healthy Tyranitar. It also hits foes that commonly defensively terastalize Steel like Zapdos and Hydrapple. Tera Water is used in conjunction with Psychic Noise to give Iron Crown a workable matchup into Skeledirge, as Calm Mind boosts are ineffective thanks to Unaware. (also lets you safely 2HKO harc) Meanwhile, Tera Fighting serves to help shore up the defensive matchup against Lokix, notably removing Iron Crown's weakness to Sucker Punch, and Tera Psychic helps to give Iron Crown's Psychic STAB a bit more oomph, although it is generally restricted to Psychic Terrain due to making Iron Crown even weaker to opposing priority.

Iron Crown finds a home on fast-paced offensive teams (it's not necessarily just on ho and based on your teammates listed you can defo fit in on BO) in need of a powerful sweeper, as well as those in need of a way to reliably deal with Ogerpon-C. (mention what specific partners that Excadrill can check like Metagross)

i'd bring up some HO partners in these last sentences like mmq that can help against Lokix and psy terrain w/lucha
